In June of 2025, Shreveport Police Department detectives were contacted by Walmart Asset Protection regarding a theft that occurred at the Walmart located on February 11, 2025.

Walmart personnel provided surveillance footage of the incident and requested assistance in identifying the suspect involved. Using various law enforcement databases and investigative resources, detectives were able to positively identify the individual as Paige Cranford.

The investigation revealed that on February 11, 2025, Cranford entered the store and committed a theft. When confronted by Asset Protection staff, she fled the scene.

A review of Cranford’s criminal history showed three prior theft arrests, all resulting in convictions. Based on the evidence and her repeat offender status, detectives obtained a warrant for her arrest.
