A traffic stop near Hearne Avenue and Shreveport-Blanchard Highway on Sept. 25 led to the arrest of Trevon Lewis and the seizure of narcotics and a fully loaded AR-style pistol, according to the Shreveport Police Department.

The Shreveport Police Department said the traffic stop was conducted by a patrol officer.

The department commended its patrol officers for their work conducting traffic stops, answering calls, pursuing leads and working to make Shreveport safer.
