Shreveport Police arrested Warde Liesmann just before midnight Sept. 23, 2026, in the 1000 block of Marshall Street.

Liesmann was contacted by officers with the Shreveport Police Department’s Vice Unit and charged with obscenity.

Louisiana Revised Statute 14:106 defines obscenity through several prohibited acts. One provision covers the intentional exposure of specified body parts in a public place or a place open to public view when done with the intent to arouse sexual desire, when it appeals to prurient interest, or when it is patently offensive.

The statute also addresses other conduct, including certain displays of sexual conduct and obscene material.
