Shreveport Police are investigating a shooting that left three juveniles injured, including a 2-year-old child and a 13-year-old who suffered life-threatening injuries.
Officers responded to 6725 Buncombe Road, Olde Salem Village Apartments, following reports of multiple people shot near the apartment complex basketball court.
The preliminary investigation indicates an unknown suspect fired multiple rounds toward the basketball court from a distance, striking three juveniles.
The victims include:
* A 2-year-old who suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
* A 13-year-old who suffered life-threatening injuries.
* A 17-year-old whose condition is unknown at this time.
Shreveport Police Crime Scene Investigators and detectives are currently on scene processing evidence, interviewing witnesses, and working to determine exactly what led to the shooting.
