A routine patrol turned into a rescue when Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Deputy A. Trujillo spotted two kittens in danger along Interstate 220.
With traffic moving at highway speeds, Trujillo safely removed both kittens from the interstate and brought them into his patrol vehicle.
The kittens were named 220 and Lakeshore after the area where their unexpected adventure ended.
The Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office said law enforcement duties can take many forms, including helping the smallest members of the community.
