The Caddo Parish School Board approved a 6 percent across-the-board pay raise for district employees as part of its 2026-27 budget during its meeting Tuesday night.

The salary increase will take effect July 1 and applies to employees across the district, including teachers, support staff, administrators, bus drivers, cafeteria workers, custodians, maintenance personnel, office staff, and other district employees.

School officials said the raise represents an investment in the workforce that supports students and school operations throughout Caddo Parish.

The pay increase was included in the district’s 2026-27 operating budget, which received approval from the board during the meeting.

District leaders noted that the increase is intended to recognize the contributions of employees who serve students and families across the parish each day.
