On November 7, 2025, officers responded to the 500 block of Stone Avenue regarding a reported stabbing. Upon arrival, officers learned that 25-year-old Kathleen Strong had allegedly cut another woman in the face with a knife following a verbal altercation. The victim sustained lacerations to her face and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Strong was taken into custody and charged with one count of Aggravated Battery. During her arrest, officers also located what was believed to be a narcotics pipe commonly used for smoking methamphetamine on her person. She was additionally charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
