The Bossier Chamber is proudly flying a new American flag, thanks to Optimum’s Operation Stars & Stripes initiative. 

Operation Stars & Stripes is a community initiative dedicated to replacing faded, tattered, or worn American flags displayed outside homes and businesses—at no cost to the property owners, regardless of whether they’re Optimum customers.

While on their daily routes, Optimum employees look for flags in need of replacement, contact the property owners, and offer to provide a new flag. Once approved, a replacement ceremony is held, and the retired flag is respectfully handed off to local organizations such as the VFW or Boy Scouts for proper retirement.
