The Centenary football program has announced kickoff times for its five home games for the upcoming season, as the Gents will play all five in the evening, kicking off at 5 p.m. or later

The Gents will open their season on Sept. 6 against Westgate Christian at 6 p.m. at Atkins Field, and will host East Texas Baptist on Sept. 20 at 6 p.m.

Centenary’s first Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference home game is set for Oct. 11 versus Texas Lutheran (6 p.m.).

Centenary’s final two home games are versus McMurry for a conference contest on Oct. 25 at 5 p.m. and against Austin College in league play on Nov. 8 at 6 p.m.

The SCAC will feature a new format for determining its league champion next season as all six schools (Austin College, Centenary, Hendrix College, Lyon College, McMurry, and TLU) will meet on Nov. 15 in Little Rock, on championship weekend held at War Memorial Stadium featuring three games – the No. 5 against the No. 6 seed, the No. 3 seed facing the No. 4 seed, and the top two seeds playing each other. 

Season tickets and single game tickets will go on sale soon. All times and dates are subject to change.

SOCCER, VOLLEYBALL SCHEDULES: The men’s and women’s soccer programs, along with the women’s volleyball program will get things started for Centenary Athletics this fall.

The men’s soccer team will open its home schedule on Aug. 29 against Texas College at Atkins Field, the women’s soccer team will square off with Howard Payne on Aug. 31, and the volleyball program will host the annual “Cajun Country Classic” on Aug. 29-30 inside the Gold Dome. Men’s soccer wraps up its home weekend on Sept. 1 against Dallas Christian College.

Full schedules for men’s soccer, women’s soccer, volleyball, and men’s and women’s basketball will be announced soon.
