LSUS invites the pubic to join them to observe the 50th anniversary of the end of the Vietnam War with a special screening of Platoon on Wednesday, April 30, at 6pm.
This screening is free to the public, but individuals must reserve a ticket to ensure a seat. LSUS wants to give everyone a fair chance to get tickets, so only purchase group tickets if there is confirmation that everyone in the group can attend.
Platoon is the story of a young and naive recruit in Vietnam, Chris Taylor. He faces a moral crisis when confronted with the horrors of war and the duality of man. War/Action, 1986, 2 hrs., R.
The screening will be held in Theater 1, RFC’s 124-seat capacity theater, followed by a panel discussion with LSUS faculty
