Ribbon-cutting held at Rusheon Middle School for David Raines Community Health Center clinic

Bossier Parish Schools and David Raines Community Health Center held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Wednesday, April 23, to open a clinic to care for students at Rusheon Middle School. Superintendent Jason Rowland said that this venture will provide much needed medical care and access for students who may not have the resources to meet their medical needs.

CEO of the David Raines Centers Mr. Willie White said that he was proud to work with Bossier Parish Schools to bring a high level of medical care to the students and providing support for students and families.

Mayor Tommy Chandler said that this effort is a great example of leadership, vision, and teamwork on behalf of Bossier Schools and David Raines Centers.  Principal Maxwell, School Board President Craton Cochran, and Board members Ms. Sam Darby and Ms. Sherri Pool also attended. Bossier Chamber President Ms. Lisa Johnson was the emcee for the ceremony.
