The Employee Association of Shreveport’s Overton Brooks VA Medical Center brought a bit of Mardi Gras cheer to its staff and patients Monday, March 3. Hospital staff dressed in Mardi Gras themed masks and costumes and hosted a Mardi Gras parade that began in the front lobby and went throughout the facility. The parade consisted of costumed staff members and creatively decorated floats made from hospital carts. Spectators joined in the fun as the parade grew. There were also plenty of beads and king cake for everyone.
