Another Shreveport restaurant is now closed.

After seven years, Sunday’s Father’s Day Brunch was the last meal served at Frank’s Louisiana Kitchen.

Owner, Chef Frank Harris, made the announcement in a Facebook post Saturday afternoon, saying he is “passing the torch to Chef Blake Jackson and Mr. Bill Anderson’s new venture, Heron!”

Harris also owns Frank’s Pizza Napoletana in Shreveport. When reached by the Shreveport-Bossier Journal, Harris had no comment, except to say that the closing “has nothing to do with Frank’s Pizza Napoletana. (It’s) life as usual over there!”

The Journal also reached out to Jackson Saturday. Despite his name, and the name of the new restaurant, appearing in the Facebook post, Jackson declined to comment on the record.

Frank’s Louisiana Kitchen was located at 1023 Provenance Place Boulevard.
