Bossier Sheriff welcomes seven new deputies in swearing-in ceremony

Bossier Sheriff Julian Whittington recently administered the Oath of Affirmation in a swearing-in ceremony for seven new deputies who joined the Bossier Sheriff’s Office team. The ceremony, held in the Sheriff’s Conference Room at the Bossier Parish Courthouse on December 11th, marked the official induction of Deputies Donsherikka Glover, Lashunda Mitchell, Aspen Oliver, Garrett Pierce, Erikka Smith, Matt Taylor, and Shkala Wright into the office.

Sheriff Whittington, addressing the newcomers, conveyed, “It is an honor to swear you in, and I welcome you to the Bossier Sheriff’s Office.” These seven deputies will commence their careers at various BSO correctional facilities.

For those aspiring to pursue a career in law enforcement, the Bossier Sheriff’s Office provides an opportunity for individuals aged 21 and above to apply for deputy positions.
