Local law enforcement responded to an assault and battery call at a retail store on November 30 around 7 p.m. The incident involved 19-year-old Fabia Goode, who allegedly attempted to shoplift items from the store. When confronted by store employees, Goode reportedly deployed pepper spray, leading to a violent altercation.
The situation was managed by responding officers, assisted by an off-duty Caddo Deputy, resulting in Goode’s apprehension. She now faces charges including two counts of aggravated battery and one count of felony theft.
The collaborative efforts of law enforcement underscore the commitment to maintaining public safety and addressing criminal activities within the community. As with all legal matters, it’s important to note that all suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
