BPSTIL Criminal Justice students visited the Bossier Parish Courthouse on October 28 to observe court proceedings and gain firsthand insight into the judicial process.

Following the proceedings, students participated in a question-and-answer session with Judge Michael Nerren, First Assistant District Attorney Andrew Jacobs, Assistant District Attorney Ian Pope and Chief Administrative Officer Sara Halphen of the Bossier Parish Clerk of Court’s Office.

The visit provided students with an opportunity to learn about the day-to-day operations of the court system and the various professionals involved in the administration of justice.
