After a volatile Week 8, Haughton stands alone as the only local undefeated team.

This week’s Shreveport-Bossier Journal Top 10 poll rankings elevated the Bucs into the top spot unanimously after previous No. 1 Calvary was defeated on the road, although the loss came at the hands of Class 4A power Archbishop Shaw.

Almost every slot in the top 10 shifted this week. Green Oaks lost for the first time and fell from fifth to eighth, just ahead of Booker T. Washington, who moved up one by blanking Woodlawn.

Five veteran sports media members who cover local high school football rank their top 10 teams each week. Rankings started after Week 1 and continue through the end of the regular season.
