Don Cook Jr. was arrested after he was found putting a boot on a customer’s truck at Cracker Barrel on Westport Avenue and charging the customer $100 to remove it, according to the Shreveport Police Department.

Restaurant management confirmed Cook and his business, Louisiana Traffic Services LLC, had no authorization to boot vehicles at the location.

Shreveport Police Department investigators obtained an arrest warrant, and the department’s Warrants Unit arrested Cook on Oct. 1. He was taken to Shreveport City Jail without incident.
