District games began last week in 1-5A with Haughton, Evangel and Parkway opening with victories in the local big school circuit.

In 1-4A, Booker T. Washington overwhelmed Southwood and was the only Shreveport-Bossier winner in that district’s results.

Airline tumbled from the unbeaten ranks and North Caddo captured its first win in non-league contests. Loyola and Northwood, longtime 1-4A rivals, staged a non-district shootout now that the Flyers have dropped down to Class 3A and the Falcons remain in 1-4A.
