Shreveport Police Department officers arrested Patrick Seamster on Sept. 21 following an alleged robbery and sexual battery at a business at 809 Olive Street.

According to police, Seamster allegedly entered the business, assaulted the clerk, forced the victim into a restroom and committed a sexual battery. He then allegedly stole cigarettes and money before fleeing on foot.

Patrol officers established a perimeter, and K-9 Edy, with assistance from K-9 officers Strawn and Pinkley, located and apprehended Seamster.

Seamster received medical treatment for a dog bite before being booked into the Shreveport City Jail for simple robbery and sexual battery.
