The Shreveport Police Department’s Lake Patrol, Caddo Parish commissioners, Shreveport City Council members, Mayor Tom Arceneaux and others joined together Saturday to clean up Cross Lake.

Chief Wayne Smith also participated in the cleanup.

Cross Lake is one of Shreveport’s natural resources, and the cleanup brought community members together with the goal of making the community cleaner and more beautiful.

Organizers thanked everyone who participated in the cleanup and helped beautify Cross Lake and Shreveport.
