Bossier Parish Fire District #1 responded to multiple fires throughout the night Monday, Sept. 7, 2026.

At approximately 7 p.m., the department was dispatched to a vehicle fire on Busby Road in the Bellevue community. Arriving units found a moving box truck heavily involved in fire. Firefighters took approximately 10 minutes to bring the fire under control.

Three engines, one rescue and one chief responded.

While on scene of the vehicle fire at 7:15 p.m., the department was called to Pease Road in the Bellevue community for a residential structure fire.

Arriving units found a single-story home with heavy fire showing from the attic. A gas meter was also found leaking and on fire on the side of the home.

Firefighters took approximately 30 minutes to bring the fire under control once the gas from the meter could be isolated.

Five engines, three rescues, two EMS units and two chiefs responded. No injuries were reported.
