Bossier City Fire Chief presents Life Saving awards to hometown heroes

Bossier City Fire Chief Blair Bockhaus presented the Life Saving Award to individuals who helped save Bruce Poynter’s life after he suffered a heart attack while playing pickleball at The Picklr.

When the medical emergency occurred, fellow players Dylan Fauver and Dr. Sean Patel immediately began performing CPR, working together until first responders arrived.

Their quick actions, combined with the skill and dedication of Bossier City Fire Station 6 personnel and Corporal Lonadier, helped save Poynter’s life.

Bossier City recognized those who stepped forward, along with Bossier City firefighters and everyone involved in the life-saving effort.
