Louisiana Grandstand announces multi-phase development at Louisiana Boardwalk

The Louisiana Grandstand is entering a new chapter with plans for a new, privately funded, multi-phase destination at the Louisiana Boardwalk in Bossier City.

The development will bring together live music, dining, hospitality, history and entertainment along the Red River, starting with The Parish Standard, a roughly 220-seat Louisiana-inspired restaurant and dedicated listening room set to open in November 2026.

A future Louisiana Grandstand auditorium, with an anticipated capacity of approximately 2,700 guests, is currently targeted to open in the first quarter of 2027, along with plans for museum experiences, outdoor spaces and additional destination-focused amenities.

The project builds on Northwest Louisiana’s musical legacy, from the Louisiana Hayride to the artists and performers who have helped shape American music, while creating new reasons for locals and visitors to experience the riverfront.

The Louisiana Boardwalk has already seen more than $13.5 million in tenant investment over the past two years, along with $3.5 million in realized and projected investment from property ownership.
