The Bossier Chamber of Commerce welcomed new teachers to Bossier Parish during a school outreach event July 31.

The Chamber partnered with Bossier Schools to connect with more than 100 educators and provide classroom start-up materials.

The organization said the event offered an opportunity for the local business community to welcome new teachers as they prepare for the upcoming school year.
