Bossier Parish Clerk of Court Jill Sessions has been awarded the 2026 Spirit of Louisiana Community Award by Speaker Mike Johnson during a recent presentation recognizing her public service and community involvement.

Sessions received the honor surrounded by family and friends, according to a statement shared by the Clerk of Court’s office.

The office noted that Sessions was recognized for her continued efforts to improve services for Bossier Parish residents, local businesses and members of the legal community. Officials said her work has helped elevate the profile of Bossier Parish across Louisiana.

The Clerk of Court’s office encouraged residents to visit and meet staff, highlighting its focus on customer service and accessibility.

Sessions expressed appreciation for the recognition and was described as honored and humbled by the award.
