One Subject Dead; No Officers Injured

Louisiana State Police detectives are investigating an officer-involved shooting that occurred late Tuesday night in the Cedar Grove area of Shreveport.

The shooting took place at approximately 10:45 p.m. on West 77th Street. The Shreveport Police Department requested the Louisiana State Police Bureau of Investigations to lead the inquiry, as is standard protocol in officer-involved shooting cases.

One subject was shot and pronounced dead at the scene. No officers were injured during the incident.

The investigation is active and ongoing. Additional details will be released as they become available.
