On February 24, 2026, just before 8:20 PM, Shreveport Police officers responded to Walmart (1645 E. Bert Kouns Industrial Loop) after an employee reported a man actively stealing merchandise.

 

Officers quickly located the suspect and took him into custody within minutes.

 

The suspect, Christopher Dudley, was found to have an extensive criminal history… including 32 prior arrests by the Shreveport Police Department for theft-related offenses.

 

Due to his prior convictions, Dudley has now been charged with Felony Theft and transported to the Shreveport City Jail.
