State Rep. Danny McCormick files HCR1 to urge, request federal investigation, prosecution of Epstein files implicants

Louisiana State Representative Danny McCormick officially filed House Concurrent Resolution No. 1 (HCR1) on Feb. 13, memorializing the state’s congressional delegation to investigate and prosecute individuals implicated in the Jeffrey Epstein files. The resolution calls for the full use of legal processes to hold accountable those involved in the documented torture, abuse, rape, and child trafficking of minors as young as nine years old.

“The recent releases under the Epstein Files Transparency Act have exposed a horrifying network of torture, abuse, rape, and child trafficking involving minors as young as nine years old. These documents reveal a web of blackmail, bribery, and exploitation that protected the powerful while preying on the innocent. That’s why I have officially filed HCR1 calling on Congress to launch a full investigation into the individuals implicated in the Jeffrey Epstein files and ensure they are prosecuted through every available legal process.

This is not a partisan battle between Democrats and Republicans. It is a fundamental struggle between good and evil. High-profile names directly tied to these criminal activities include former President Bill Clinton, Prince Andrew, Alan Dershowitz, billionaire Les Wexner, former Senate Majority Leader George Mitchell, former New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson, hedge fund manager Glenn Dubin, model agent Jean-Luc Brunel, and others whose names have appeared in the newly released files. These allegations represent serious violations of law and public trust. Full accountability is essential to uphold justice and protect the public.

HCR1 urges our federal representatives and senators to prioritize this investigation and use all legal tools to prosecute those responsible. The victims deserve justice, and the American people deserve the truth. I will not rest until evil is exposed and punished, no matter how powerful the perpetrators.”
