Victor Alan “Popsi” Timmons, 70, of Shreveport, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 12, 2026, in his hometown, Shreveport, Louisiana.

Born on June 30, 1955, in Shreveport, Victor lived a life defined by hard work, devotion to his family, and a love for the open road and the things that brought him joy. A skilled machinist and proud truck driver, Victor took tremendous pride in his work, finding purpose in every mile traveled and every machine mastered.

Beyond his career he was a dedicated family man whose happiest moments were those spent surrounded by his children and his loved ones.

Victor was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Wanda, and his brother, Steven. He is survived by his life partner, Mary Elizabeth (Liz); children, Zach, Jeremy, and Alana; grandchildren, Addison, and Autumn; brother, Mitchell; and sister, Jawan.

A funeral service and burial will be held at Red Oak Cemetery, Red Oak, Texas, on Monday, February 16, 2026, at 1:00 p.m.
