Caddo Parish Sheriff Henry Whitehorn Sr. swore in four new deputies for the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office on Feb. 12.

The newly appointed personnel include three corrections deputies and one nurse.

Corrections deputies sworn in are Peter Staten, Thomas Arkansas and Troy Crawford. Kayla Reeves was sworn in to serve as a nurse with the department.

The sheriff’s office said it is actively recruiting additional personnel. Applicants age 21 and older may apply for a variety of positions, including corrections deputies, licensed practical nurses, registered nurses, building and groundskeepers, part-time courthouse security personnel and part-time work release drivers.
