Christopher Hill named principal of Huntington High School

Huntington High School has officially welcomed Christopher Hill as its new principal.

Hill most recently served as assistant principal at Huntington High School since 2024. He brings more than 17 years of educational leadership experience, having worked in DeSoto Parish and Tangipahoa Parish in various roles throughout his career.

His professional background includes service as a special education teacher, health and physical education teacher, and coach in football, basketball and track. Hill also served eight years as athletic director at Mansfield High School, where he oversaw comprehensive athletic programs supporting student development both academically and competitively.

School officials said Hill’s familiarity with Huntington and commitment to the Raider community make the appointment especially significant. He is expected to continue building on the school’s history and traditions while focusing on academic excellence and student achievement.

District leaders encouraged the community to join in welcoming Hill as he begins this new chapter of leadership at Huntington High School.
