A parish-wide burn ban is now in effect in Caddo Parish as of Saturday, Feb. 8, 2026, due to extremely dry conditions and a lack of significant rainfall in the long-range forecast.

Officials said all outdoor burning is prohibited during the ban. The restriction will remain in place until conditions improve and the ban is officially lifted.

Residents are urged to comply with the burn ban to help reduce the risk of wildfires and protect property and public safety.
