Caddo Parish Public Schools announced the district’s 2025-2026 Teachers of the Year, recognizing three educators for their outstanding commitment to students and excellence in education.

Shawn Greer of South Highlands Elementary Magnet School was named Elementary Teacher of the Year. Victoria Lacy of Herndon Magnet School was honored as Middle School Teacher of the Year, and Monica Speyrer of C.E. Byrd High School received the High School Teacher of the Year award.

District officials said each honoree exemplifies Caddo’s mission of “Excellence. Every One. Every Day.” The teachers were recognized for their dedication, innovation, and positive impact on student success.

The district also extended appreciation to all educators who participated in this year’s competition.
