After a busy Thursday night with 12 local teams in action, Halloween night’s high school football slate for Shreveport-Bossier had only five games but as usual, there was plenty of offense.

Booker T. Washington quarterback Devion Stewart threw six touchdown passes in the Lions’ rout of Southwood. He hit 17 of 29 throws for 316 yards, with Devondre Johnson catching six for 106 and a score and Trey Moore collecting three TDs on just four catches totalling 100 yards.

BTW moved over .500 at 5-4 overall, 2-4 in District 1-4A.  Southwood dipped to 3-5, 1-4.

Airline was the only other local winner Friday night, posting 48 points on Byrd. Loyola scored 49 – and suffered its first loss, at unbeaten North DeSoto.

Winless Magnolia School of Excellence (0-8, 0-4) forfeited its District 1-2A home game against Union Parish.
