As part of its ongoing mission to support military-connected students, the Northwest Louisiana Military Support Foundation, in partnership with the Bossier Chamber of Commerce and Bossier Parish Schools, presented a donation to the Military Club at Apollo Elementary.

The presentation marked the first in a series of contributions planned through an initiative aimed at supporting military clubs throughout the Bossier Parish School System.

Apollo Elementary is designated as a Purple Star School, a recognition given to schools that demonstrate a strong commitment to meeting the unique needs of military students and their families. The donation will help fund the club’s activities and programs that foster connection, resilience, and understanding among students whose families serve in the armed forces.

Through this collaborative effort, the Foundation and its partners continue to strengthen community support for local military families and ensure that Bossier Parish remains a leading example of military-friendly education in Louisiana.
