The Bossier Parish Consolidated Waterworks/Sewerage District No. 1 has officially lifted the boil advisory for customers served by the Village Water System.
The advisory was initially issued following a temporary water service interruption caused by a contractor working on behalf of CWSD #1. The work involved tying in water lines along Winfield and Wafer Roads, affecting homes located between Bellevue Road and Violet Drive.
Following the repair, water samples were collected and tested by the Louisiana Department of Health Laboratory in Shreveport. The results confirmed that water is safe for consumption and meets all health and safety standards.
No further action is required by residents.
