Caddo Parish is now home to NINE Purple Star Schools, a special honor recognizing campuses that go above and beyond to support military-connected students and their families.
Caddo Parish Schools held a recognition program earlier this week. They announced the following schools as Purple Star Schools:
- Caddo Middle Magnet
- C.E. Byrd High School
- Captain Shreve High School
- Eden Gardens Fundamental Elementary
- Fairfield Elementary Magnet
- Northwood High School
- South Highlands Elementary Magnet
- Youree Drive Middle AP Magnet
Together with the first Purple Star campus, Caddo Magnet High, these schools are showing what it means to serve with excellence for every child, every day.
