The grand reopening of the Downtown Sprayground was celebrated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Aug. 5—and families wasted no time jumping in to enjoy it.
Closed since 2018 due to flood damage, the space is now fully renovated thanks to a $1 million capital improvement project from SPAR. Upgrades include a full electrical overhaul and color-changing LED lights that sync with the Texas Street Bridge.
This is a huge win for Shreveport and the downtown community. Bring the kids and cool off—there’s still have plenty of summer left to enjoy it.
