The Greenwood Police Department and the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the 8400 block of Kelly Lane in Greenwood in response to a report of a drive-by shooting on Thursday, July 30, at approximately 6:15 p.m.
During the preliminary investigation, several shell casings were found in the street in front of a residence. Detectives discovered that the house had been struck by gunfire. However, fortunately, no one was injured in the incident.
Witnesses reported seeing a white four-door sedan speeding away from the scene shortly after the shooting. The vehicle is possibly a Kia Forte with a black stripe on the back bumper.
