CPSO Deputy Corporal Anderson honored by the Louisiana Sheriff’s Association

Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office Deputy Corporal Rick Anderson was honored by the Louisiana Sheriff’s Association during a ceremony on Tuesday, July 29.
 
He was awarded Deputy of the Year at the Louisiana Sheriff’s Conference for his work on a fentanyl death case involving Martin Thompson.
 
With over thirty years of service as a Caddo Sheriff’s deputy, Anderson currently holds the rank of Corporal in the Narcotics Division and serves as a Task Force Officer with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). Throughout his career, he has worked on a wide range of cases and has completed extensive law enforcement training. His strong dedication to his work and his commitment to the oath he took as a law enforcement officer are evident in his exceptional work ethic.
