Mayor Tom Arceneaux announced that the City of Shreveport’s Capital Projects Dashboard, a new online tool that allows residents to easily track the progress of bond-funded infrastructure projects across the city, has gone live.
Available now at https://capitalprojects.shreveportla.gov or in the “Latest Updates” section on the homepage of the city’s website at http://www.shreveportla.gov, the dashboard provides up-to-date information on projects funded by the 2021 and 2024 bond issues, including street improvements, water and sewer upgrades, facility renovations, and public safety enhancements. Each project includes details such as phase (design, bidding, construction), estimated cost, funding source, and location.
“The residents of Shreveport deserve to see where their dollars are going—and how those investments are moving forward,” said Mayor Tom Arceneaux. “This dashboard is about transparency, accountability, and better communication with the people we serve. It reflects our ongoing commitment to building trust and delivering real progress. I would like to thank our IT Department led by Shocker Creal for doing the technical work to get this dashboard ready for the public.”
The dashboard is interactive and will be regularly updated by the city’s Engineering department. Residents can explore projects by district, category, or status, making it easier than ever to stay informed about infrastructure improvements in their neighborhoods.
To use the dashboard, visit https://capitalprojects.shreveportla.gov and click on the “Dashboard” tab. From there, users can view an overview or click into each individual project to see more detailed information, maps, and updates. Also on this dashboard, there is a “Report a Concern” tab at the top of the screen that takes users directly to Port City 311, the City’s interactive platform for citizens to report infrastructure concerns directly to City of Shreveport employees. Users will also find a “FAQs” tab on the dashboard, where frequently asked questions are answered and citizens can find the most up-to-date answers for questions relating to all of the capital projects.
Please note: The dashboard is fully functional on desktop browsers, but it is not yet in its final form for mobile devices. A mobile-optimized version is in development and will be released as soon as possible.
