
Detectives with the Shreveport Police Department’s Violent Crimes Unit are asking for the public’s assistance in solving a homicide that occurred on June 21.
Officers were called to the 4100 block of Crosby Street where they discovered 64-year-old Floyd Scroggins suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite lifesaving efforts, Scroggins tragically died from his injuries.
Detectives with the Violent Crimes Unit responded to the scene and have been actively investigating the
case. However, they are now turning to the community for help identifying those responsible.
