
The Shreveport Police Department’s DWI Unit was exceptionally busy this past weekend, arresting a total of 17 individuals for driving while intoxicated (DWI) and related offenses. The arrests were made as part of the department’s ongoing efforts to keep Shreveport’s roadways safe and to deter impaired driving.
The following individuals were arrested:
1. Kalondra Allen – DWI and careless operation.
2. Marie Katherine Bates – DWI and speeding.
3. Tahri Bivens – Second offense DWI, careless operation, and resisting an officer.
4. Michael Brewer – DWI and improper lane usage.
5. Domingo Garza – DWI and driving the wrong way on a one-way street.
6. Lyni Haley – DWI and speeding.
7. Demarius Hobley – DWI and multiple traffic offenses.
8. William Huff – DWI and driving the wrong way on a one-way street.
9. Germy Jackson – DWI and multiple traffic offenses.
10. Lee Jackson – DWI.
11. Tche Johnson – DWI and improper lane usage.
12. Brandon Lewis – DWI, aggravated flight from an officer (felony), improper display of tags, no license
plate light, and open container.
13. Briana Loyd – DWI, possession of narcotics, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, along
with other traffic offenses.
14. Janna Miller – DWI and careless operation.
15. Aaron Phillips – DWI and an outstanding warrant.
16. Shamiya Pipkins – DWI and multiple traffic offenses.
17. Javon Roberson – DWI and multiple traffic offenses.
“This weekend’s arrests highlight the continued dangers posed by impaired drivers,” said SPD Chief Wayne Smith. “Our DWI Unit remains vigilant in protecting our community from those who choose to put lives at risk.”
