The Shreveport Police Department has concluded Operation Curveball, a strategic initiative aimed at
combating prostitution and eliminating the demand that fuels human trafficking.
As part of the operation’s final phase, SPD Vice agents conducted an undercover operation that resulted in the arrest of four individuals on charges related to prostitution. These charges include prostitution, prostitution by massage, and sexual conduct in a massage parlor.
Arrested were:
- Zhao, Aiying
- Xia, Xiaolan
- Wang, Shayang
- Li, Yan
Efforts like Operation Curveball are crucial in reducing human trafficking. By targeting and eliminating
demand, the SPD disrupts the cycle that allows these crimes to persist in our community.
