A bond payment phone scam is targeting the Caddo Parish community. Investigators from the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office have reported that scammers are impersonating Caddo Sheriff’s Deputies and asking individuals for bond payments to release inmates.
Bear in mind that no one from the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office will ever request payment over the phone or ask for payment by mail, including through apps like Zelle, Cash App, or other peer-to-peer payment apps.
