In February 2025, detectives with the Shreveport Police Department’s Sex Crimes Unit launched an
investigation into Donald Simpson following allegations of a sex crime involving a young victim.

As a result of their investigation, on April 2, detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Simpson on three
counts of Indecent Behavior with a Juvenile and one count of Sexual Battery.

On April 22, Simpson was taken into custody and booked into the Shreveport City Jail on the
outstanding warrants.
