A promotional ceremony was held Friday, Feb. 28, to promote Chris Dison to the position of Director and Chief of the Fire Prevention Division and to promote George Craft as Assistant Chief of Fire Prevention.

Today’s promotion marked a significant milestone in the career of both Chiefs. As Director of Fire Prevention, Chief Dison will be responsible for the oversight and inspections of all new and existing businesses in Bossier City. As Asst. Chief, Chief Craft will provide the necessary experience and support to provide these services to the city.

Deputy Chief Waggoner presented both Chiefs with their helmets and promotional certificates. Fire Chief Brad Zagone congratulated both Chiefs and he said that he is confident that our Fire Prevention Division is in good and capable hands.
