The Shreveport Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating Carlos Franklin, who is wanted for a violent domestic incident.

SPD officers responded to a report of domestic violence on Jan. 19. The victim stated that her live-in boyfriend, Carlos Franklin, struck her in the face with a closed fist, causing a laceration in her bottom lip. The victim’s 8-year-old son was present during the assault, and the victim is currently pregnant. 

SPD Domestic Violence detectives have been in contact with the victim and confirmed that she is nearing childbirth. As a result of the investigation, an arrest warrant has been issued for Franklin on the following charges: Domestic Abuse Battery Upon a Pregnant Victim and Domestic Abuse Battery – Child Endangerment.
