Warrant issued for suspect in sexual assault case

Khristian A. Gregory

SPD detectives began investigating a Second Degree Rape case on Dec. 5 after a juvenile victim disclosed to a counselor that she had been sexually assaulted. The Louisiana Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) reported the allegations to law enforcement, prompting an immediate investigation.

Detectives contacted the victim and her mother, and a forensic interview was conducted at the local child advocacy center. During the interview, the victim provided detailed information about the assault and the perpetrator, identified as Khristian A. Gregory.

As the investigation progressed, detectives identified another potential victim who also alleged sexual assault by Gregory. After contacting the second victim, detectives received additional disclosures of abuse.

A warrant was subsequently issued for Khristian A. Gregory on Dec. 16, based on the evidence gathered. Gregory has been charged with one count of Second Degree Rape, two counts of Indecent Behavior with a Juvenile, and two counts of Sexual Battery.
